Bishop Bambera Makes 49 Clergy Appointments

SPECIAL ASSIGNMENTS  

Reverend Philip A. Altavilla, V.E., from Episcopal Vicar, Northern Pastoral Region, pro tem, to Episcopal Vicar, Northern Pastoral Region. Father Altavilla will continue as Diocesan Director of Ecumenism and Interfaith Affairs and will continue to reside at Our Lady of the Snows Parish Rectory, Clarks Summit.  

Reverend Eric L. Bergman, from Chaplain, Mercy Hospital , Scranton. Father Bergman will continue as Chaplain, Saint Thomas More Society, Scranton.  

Monsignor David A. Bohr, from Director of the Permanent Diaconate. Monsignor Bohr will continue to serve as Pastor, Saint Peter’s Cathedral Parish, Scranton .  

Reverend Charles P. Connor, from studies, Pontifical John Paul II Institute for Studies on Marriage and the Family, Washington, D.C., to the faculty, Mount Saint Mary’s Seminary, Emmitsburg, Maryland.  

Monsignor Vincent J. Grimalia, from Director, Called to Holiness and Mission pastoral planning program, and from Director, Office of Ongoing Formation for Priests, to Sabbatical. Monsignor Grimalia will reside at Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish Rectory, Peckville.  

Monsignor Joseph P. Kelly, V.E., from Episcopal Vicar for Hispanic Ministry, pro tem, and from Administrator, Holy Rosary Parish, Wilkes-Barre, to Episcopal Vicar for Hispanic Ministry. Monsignor Kelly will continue as Diocesan Secretary for Catholic Human Services/Executive Director of Catholic Social Services and will reside at All Saints Parish Rectory, Plymouth.
