St. Elizabeth of Hungary Parish
Humbly guided by the Holy Spirit, our mission is to help people:
- Through prayer and worship, discover God’s desire to be in relationship with us;
- Discover and develop the gifts and talents God has bestowed on each person;
- Share our faith in Jesus Christ through a welcoming community, beautiful liturgy, and ongoing faith formation;
- Be of service to one another, to the communities in which we live, and especially to those in need.

St. RIta Parish
The mission of St. Rita Parish, Gouldsboro is to build a strong and vibrant community through the ministries of Word, Worship, Community and Service. These ministries will help us to: facilitate the spiritual growth of every member of the parish through lifelong faith formation; build up the community by celebrating the sacred liturgy well; strengthen and support one another through works of charity; and act on our commitment to serve others. We thereby enable each other to be a sign of God’s presence in the world.
On the horizon
- Continue implementation of the parish pastoral plan
- Fully re-engage parish members post-Covid
- Participate, with St. Rita Parish, in the partnership for faith formation with the neighboring parishes of St. Maximilian Kolbe and Most Holy Trinity
- Participate, with St. Elizabeth Parish, in the Wilkes-Barre Deanery blueprint conversations
