The parishes of St. John the Evangelist and St. Joseph Marello in Pittston will co-sponsor "An Evening of Song" on Saturday, October 19 at 7:00 PM in St. John the Evangelist Church, 35 William Street in Pittston, presented jointly by the St. Thomas Gospel Choir of Philadelphia and Cantores Christi Regis of King's College in Wilkes-Barre. The St. Thomas Gospel Choir is under the direction of Walt Blocker, is accompanied by keyboards and drums, and shares its music at over fifty services, programs, concerts, and celebrations every year. Joining the STGC this year are the members of Cantores Christi Regis of King’s College under the direction of Rob Yenkowski. The choirs will perform both individually and together throughout the evening.
