You are never alone. The grief support group at the Cathedral of Saint Peter provides support to people in our community who are grieving the loss of a loved one. We are frequently reminded of the reality of death, and our Christian responsibility to offer some degree of comfort to those who mourn.​ Our ministry is managed by a small group of dedicated individuals who have been exposed to death and dying in their own lives. They have received instruction on the grief support group process and have a special empathy which is required when dealing with bereaved persons. The fall session of the Grief Support Group will meet Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. beginning on September 4th, 11th, 18th and 25th at the Diocesan Pastoral Center, 330 Wyoming Ave., Scranton.
